The Best Caravan and Motorhome Toilet and Cleaning Products
As caravanners we spent a great deal of money on various toilet chemicals, interior cleaning products and sprays. Some were money well spent and others were an absolute waste.
As vloggers, we have been approached by companies asking us to test out their products, with promise of them being the best thing since sliced bread.
With chemicals it is often hard to re-invent the wheel, the product either works or it doesn’t.
In February 2020, we were at The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC. We came across a small stand of products called 40shot and Proshot. After listening to the sales pitch, which consisted of “We will put our products up against anyones”, I was interested.
I like a company that has a genuine confidence in its products and who manufacture them themselves.
I was keen to try the two products I came away with, the 40shot Toilet Cassette and the Dish N Treat.
I must say, I started using both straight away and was very impressed with both. The toilet cassette smelt amazing, the dosing bottle made it easy to measure the amount I needed, it didn’t spill everywhere. The toilet cassette broke down the waste and smelt fresh for several days.
The Dish N Treat, I needed convincing why I needed to spend £9.99 on washing up liquid. I must say after using it during 2020, when touring was allowed, I could see the benefit. It has a fresh citrus smell, bubbled up nicely in hard water, cleaned the pipes as it went down and stopped the waste water tank from smelling. A problem we had before in hot weather was the smell of the waste water coming back up the pipes. The Dish N Treat stopped this and you can use it neat down all the plug holes to freshen them up.
Due to being impressed with the products, I contacted Proshot and asked if they could supply a prize bundle for our livestreams during Lockdown 2021. They obliged and a bundle went out to one of our winners.
Putting your name to a product can be very damaging to your reputation if it isn’t as good as you claim. I would never recommend a product I didn’t believe in, or use myself. I would 100% recommend the Proshot and 40shot products to other caravan and motorhome owners. I continue to use them and I cannot see myself replacing the toilet cassette and flush products with any other brand -they are that good.
